Blaine had had a long, exhausting day at choreography, and then of course the subway had stalled for an hour and he'd been stuck inside of a metal box that was roughly 200 degrees. Blaine didn't even want to know what his hair looked like right then. He'd just wanted to take a cool shower and then get a foot rub from his handsome husband while they watched some trashy TV (and then maybe get ridden by him, if Kurt didn't mind that his hips wouldn't be contributing).
When he finally got his key in the door he was hit with a refreshing blast of conditioned air, and was pleasantly surprised to find Kurt waiting in the foyer for him.
"Hi, honey, how was your day?" Kurt asked, taking his bag from him. "Good? Tell me it was good."
"Well, the group's starting to look really great," Blaine said, his bad mood evaporating now that he was in his home and more importantly in Kurt's presence. "But honestly, I'm beat. What do you say about you and I hopping in the--"
"Kurt! Who's at the door?" shouted a loud and very familiar voice from the living room.
Blaine slowly turned back to Kurt, who was wincing. "So that's why you were waiting here to intercept me."
"I am so sorry," Kurt said in an undertone. "I opened the door without checking the peephole, and then he was inside."
"Did you try tricking him onto the fire escape and locking him out?"
"Blaine," Kurt chided. "I want your family to like me."
