Actually, if we assume theyâre both human, I think their relationship would be even more complicated. They might date for a while and then break up, but it would still be â a really messy relationship. Plus, no one would know when they started dating or when it ended, and Iâd have a hard time saying whether they ever had sex (I feel like in this AU, theyâd fight way more often than theyâd have sex). Physical fights are just part of their relationshipâthatâs how it is.
As for their feelings toward each other âââ
Gavin, it feels like, really enjoys conquering others. Connor picked up on this very keenly and just went along with itâhe didnât really care what Gavin was thinking. At the same time, Gavin didnât really care what Connor was thinking either.
But if you ask about Connorâs motivation for doing this, I can only say he has his own ulterior motivesâheâs simply observing humans other than himself. Itâs like conducting a social experiment (which is why Connor comes across as a bit of a âmachineâ).
