Nothing ever happened here, the street their little house sat on was quiet, and frankly, after the life she had led, Liberty had come to enjoy the quiet.

So when there was a knock at the front door, Liberty didn't expect anything out of the ordinary, in fact she was fairly confidant that it was nosey Mrs. Johnson across the street again, until she opened the door.

"Afternoon, Mrs. J-" The shock of a familiar red head who Liberty knew for a fact should not be standing on her front porch. This shouldn't be happening, but Liberty couldn't bring herself to care.

"... Barton?" She grabbed the redhead into a bear hug.

She tosses.

She turns.

Eventually? Her eyes narrowly begin to part open, groaning with agitation as she's ripped from the realm of dreams, ❝ Crap... ❞ palm reaches up to her forehead, a searing ache coursing through it — remnants of the night's previous... more colloquially referred to as a hangover; she lays there, for several more minutes with exposed back pressed against the budget cotton sheets and eyes aimlessly counting each minuscule divot in the ceiling above.

❝ ...alright, alright. You made your point sun. ❞ she mumbles to herself; soon the soles of her feet press against the fuzz of the carpet beneath her. Newly positioned? Jubilee is greeted with the debris of last night's escapades: a t-shirt balled up by the door, a pair of panties dangling from the ceiling fan, shoes somehow burrowed underneath the bedframe...

...talk about a crazy night, eh?

Her stomach growls before much more time to reflect is given; prompting the groggy X-Man to reach for the balled up Curry jersey laying atop the nightstand — slipping the fabric over her torso? She rises to her feet; making her way toward the bedroom door.

With a swing of the hinge? She's in the hallway... her nose immediately greeted by a familiar scent: egg, ham, and cheese; not just any ol' breakfast sandwich... no, this was the greatest breakfast sandwich ever. Jubilee's eyes dart to the source of the aroma, laying immediately upon those of @redheadarcher , clutching that all too famous brown bag of heavenly cuisine.

❝ Must have been the best you ever had if you're surprising lil ol' me with Sal's in the morning. ❞ the mutant jests with confidence; eagerly reaching out for the bag — hand digging inside and producing one piping hot piece of aluminum foil sammy draped in perfectly wrapped tin foil.

She takes a big whiff — the aroma damn near orgasmic... and understandably prompting a teasing giggle to come out from Scarlet.

It was funny... to be asked such a question whilst wearing what she was wearing — a black crop top that hung all loosey goosey on her frame, the printed on face of the man named Tupac Shakur on its front.

This level of maturity? Not something many really took the time to see in the mutant named Jubilee — It was always there, however, for any and all that wanted to see it, ❝ If I went and changed something in the past? Maybe I wouldn't be the chick I am today — coulda turned out to be a total sleazoid... ❞ eyes shift towards the opened window, taking in the loving rays of solar energy that beamed downward and onto her skin...

It's apparent in her voice, she even slightly surprised herself with how eloquently it was all phrased... needless to say?

Getting far too sappy.

❝ Definitely cooking! But like — not 'cause I'm sick of mall food or anything! Could never pay me enough to denounce McBurgers! ❞ there would be a comedic groan in her belly at the very mention of the food chain.

Staving off the sensations of hunger for just a while longer? Jubilee continues, ❝ But it'd be kinda sick to y'know cook a good fuck some breakfast in bed the morning after! Or maybe just spoil myself, who knows really? ❞ her smile beams — but damn, she was hungry.

❝ Don't see that changin' anytime soon though! Ain't no shot I can compete with Globbie's cooking! ❞ there is laughter that escapes her; then? She would scurry off to the mall to pick up some decadent unhealthy eats.
