Well, i just got a seven days ban from reddit for "promoting hatred based on identity".
What did i write in that comment you may ask?
Well, somebody was asking who the Society of Saint Pius x are.
And i explained that they are a bunch of ultra-right conservative Christians, founded by a Nazi collaborator, wich promote antisemitism and hatred for other religions.
Among the many many MANY other awful things abaout them.
Apparently this was me "promoting hatred for vulnerable identities".
And when i appealed to the mods, they refused to lift the ban.
Nice to know that the mods of Reddit consider the fucking Nazi schismatics a minority that should be protected.
But they don't take down all the blatantly mysoginistic/transphobic/ableist/homophobic subs there are on Reddit.

I was permanently banned from r/mildyinteresting because I apparently had 3 strikes. One of the links they listed lead to a comment I made 4 YEARS AGO!
The other two lead to posts that I deleted because it broke the rules. They banned me anyway.
Reddit mods be crazy.

So I lowkey got banned for 3 days on Reddit and i’m just sitting here like this waiting for an appeal.
I was supposed to host an art challenge this week but I guess thats not happening.
This happened all over a joke I said on a satire sub that the automod apparently took seriously </3

Just had my first hypocritical Reddit moderator encounter. Never thought I’d see the day
Just woke up to all 3 of my Reddit main and side accounts permanently banned. Last night, the r/pics sub immediately banned me when I replied to someone on there's comment. They banned me for ban evasion despite never being banned on there on any account.
I navigated past the automod messages that weren't helpful and got to a human mod. They refused to tell me how I'm evading a ban. In fact I was permanently muted from messaging the mods ever again, didn't even get a reply at all.
Then I wake up this morning to all my accounts deleted permanently.
The comment I replied to that got me autobanned for 'ban evasion' ? I defended a Trans person...
So be super fucking careful guys. Mods have waaaay too much power on there.
