Several of the desks are overfilled with knick-knacks and books, definitely not in a suitable state to work at. Behind one of these, a man sits with his feet on top of the table and its contents, ankles crossed. If Eddie had to make a guess he'd say he's around Eddie's own age. White, with dark hair. He's wearing glasses. Bingo. This is his man. * August, 1958. Eddie Kaspbrak gets a new job.

Carefully, he peels the foil off a bar and takes a bite, looking about as nervous as a squirrel and just as adorable. He passes the bar over to Richie."
