Okay so I’ve read that Moffat and Gatiss had planned Eurus a while ago in the earlier seasons.

In Season 3 there is a soundtrack called ‘Redbeard’. Of course at the time we all thought it was about Sherlock’s dog that died.

Linking and foreshadowing Eurus?:

The song is an obvious sad and tragic soundtrack. The violins play the main melody which links to Sherlock and Eurus violin stuff. It’s a really emotional song and is sad to begin with but around 0:50, the song changes to a more determined and angry theme (faster violins, drums, cello ostinati) which could link to Sherlock mourning Redbeard/Victor Trevor at the beginning but then being angry at Eurus because obviously she just killed his best friend etc. There is also a woman singing throughout which could be foreshadowing Eurus. At the end the singing becomes very high like screaming which could be Eurus being taken away or Eurus laughing.
