life has been hectic lately and I forgot to post my teasessions. This is boutta be a bigger post!
I'd even comment on what I had, but I honestly don't remember much. However, lately I've been trying a lot of japanese teas too, I sort of grew a liking to the fishy soup flavour!
went to the tea house with hopes to read for a bit, but my mind got foggy and i cant really focus, because ive lost someone for the first time in my life (until now ive "only" had to deal with the deaths of our dogs) and i dont really know how to deal with it and so everytime i think to myself something like "oh im actually doing okay", another wave of sadness and grief hits me. and so im trying my best not to cry when im at public spaces, but its not always possible. im going on a five days long school field trip tomorrow and i really hope i wont face some sort of a bigger breakdown or something. yikez.
anyway!! im drinking this delicious assam tea, which was made of the leaves from the ttes.8 cultivar. its really warming and sweet, reminds me of caramel a little bit. i love the color of it too.
i got the tea in a tea pot whichs lid apparently broke, but i absolutely adore the one they replaced it with!! it looks so cute!!

Sage: 1/2 part
Pumpkin seeds: I part
Dried apple: II and 1/2 part
Cinnamon: I part
Star anise: 1/2 part
I was going to make something more "typical chai" (let's say chai it's the typical indian, very spiced, tea), but then I went for a tea that smelled like apple pie. Hope you like it!
Still, make any necessary changes in case of allergies. Just because Persephone is about to go to the Land of the Dead, doesn't mean you have to follow.
Tea culture and practises all around the world
I've been pondering on this for a while. I want to learn about the different ways to make tea from all around the globe. I want to know how you make your tea, and to learn how I can make it too if possible. I would love to hear some stories, myths, legends, memories and foods or snacks that go along with the tea. Or as long as it's connected to tea anything goes!
And I would like to share it all here on tumblr, either through pictures and text, and maybe some filming (if I'm feeling brave enough).
The how's and when's is not planned yet, and some input is welcomed. Maybe have people send in submissions? idk...?
This project is inspired by Beryl Shereshewsky's video so I'm sharing this as well. It's fun to watch, and made me really want to do something like this as well.
