Redline Ending

out of pure curiosity, i wanted to revisit this 2020 fanart piece and red line it.

I think starting this year, i'm slowly starting to get the grasp of how the pelvis works. Thanks to my new found interest looking into anatomy kinda seriously. Not perfect by any means but I feel happy that i'm slowly understanding my studies and putting them into practice.

I sketched in the clothes & hair. Used a chara ref to guide me. I was not happy how my original skirt turned out. So I changed the shape of it.

I color picked what i originally used. I solely wanted to compare how my anatomy and some character design principles I've learned throughout the years would differ to the 2020 piece. Wow! Much has changed since. Altho I left the shoes out cause I was lazy (lmao), I know right now, shoes are still a struggle for me. If I ever revisit this redline in the future, maybe I can go over with my new shoe knowledge :)

Just for fun, I tweaked some of the colors that fit to my current taste. Additionally some small things like removing the lineart around the eyes, adding gradient to the hair, and some subtle shading here and there.
