Carmen plans it out for a while, she constantly thinks about whether it's the right time whenever she's with Julia. She finally decides it's the right time after a successful caper in Paris. The two are at the top of the Eiffel Tower by chance, and Carmen takes a breath. She starts a speech about the two and their experiences together- from when they were enemies, friends, the rocky space in between, and girlfriends. When she's done, she takes and knee like she's practiced hundreds of times and finally asks the question. Julia, of course, says yes. There's lots of happy tears and "I love you"s
Julia wanted to do something big but she didn't want ACME to see the attention drawn to them, and she thought that since they always travel the world it wouldn't be as special to go somewhere like a tourist attraction. Instead, she's staying at Sandiego HQ for a while and decides to do it when the two are alone in the house. It's after they have a fancy dinner- one of those ones you cook for special occasions. Julia asks Carmen to stay in her seat while she cleans up, and while Julia's in the kitchen, she prepares her small speech. Carmen is confused when Julia starts this speech but realizes what's happening when Julia takes her hand and shows a box while taking a knee. Carmen nods before Julia can ask the question, which they both laugh about through tears.
