I love how in the movie red cliff we actually see several proofs of that Zhuge Liang used to be a farmer in Nanyang. From little details in how he dresses, dusts down his clothes to his knowledge in aiding an animal giving birth. With other Liangliangs I often get the impression, that ya boy Kongming left behind that lifestyle easily. Or in some cases it's not shown at all and it paints a picture that he was mostly frolicking around with his scholar friends lmao
