While waiting for mum to come home with brunch, I had a couple of steamed Red Bean Paste Pau (豆沙包) from Ho Kee Pau (和记包) to quell the hunger. To be more precise, it is so that I can take my medicines since the packaging indicate “after food”. I like them for the fluffy soft bun filled with smooth and velvety red bean paste 🫘 which isn’t overly sweet.

So they aren’t perfect I guess, but I’m very happy with how they turned out for a first attempt. Couldn’t fit a whole salted egg yolk in there because of the mould size, but I did fit half anyway. Very delicious! 🥰
