But how amazing is it that I get to rediscover myself? To have the freedom to love myself unabashedly and to celebrate what makes me me?

Today, I spoiled myself. Hair care, skin care, a new fragrance, and I filled my fridge and pantry for the week. It feels so good. And I deserve that.

I wish this for all of those who have left, are trying to leave, the ones that can't figure out how to. I see you, my siblings, my kin. You deserve good things, too. You deserve love and respect and compassion and patience. You deserve support and truth, a full belly, a clean body, a regulated nervous system.
