really bothers me that a lot of games where the player character has like, narrations or reactions to items/events, their voice is never changes. they speak to someone and there's no different between inside/conversation/muttering/thought voice. it's all the same tone. same volume.
are you ever faced with the situation where someone recounts some dumb shit you did when you were a kid and you have to be "haha no i have noooooo idea why I did that lol it was so weird like what was going through my head" thats a lie. i know exactly why i did that. it was gross and weird and stupid and it made absolutely no sense but i wanted to do it.
