In the early 1950s, Iso Spa made refrigerators and scooters. Owner Renzo Rivolta moved into cars with a tiny, egg-shaped model using a motorcycle engine. The Isetta was introduced in 1953 and sold well but trailed off with sales ending in 1955. Attended the Chattanooga Motor Car Festival today to visit with friends and get to see this exact car in person. I went to go through the gate and they said I had to leave my camera in the car because I didn’t have a media pass. It just so happened that on the way back to the car, guess what was getting unloaded? I think I was the only one to capture the only time this car will be unloaded this weekend. A very special moment for me, please enjoy!
