i have decided something about lyle (who is my warlock halfling blacksmith d&d character who doesn’t really have much about him that i know)

i mean i know how he become an adventurer or whatever the fuck, but that’s it really

but uh, okay so, uhhh he’s uh he’s on the run from some evil accountants, right, that’s a way to put it maybe? anyway that doesn’t matter, well it does it’s quite important really, but what is important is what i just realised

he’s a nailor! and yeah part of why he dunt say owt is cs he don’t wanna say owt about how the evil accountants are after him, right, cs that would be bad, but also like

when you say you’re a blacksmith, people. Assume. a lot of things. and and and then how do you say? that? you make nails? that. that’s 90% of what you do? they’re very very good nails, don’t get him wrong, he’s very good at nails,, but it ant what you’re reckonin when you think of blacksmiths, is it, and now he doesn’t really know how to . correct people? now?

so, uh. he’s gonna. Not tell that one story about the time there was that order of canvas nails that got mixed up with the horse nails. because that only really seems funny to nailors, in any case, and you think he’s A Mysterious Warlock what can make swords an all sorts

it’s a very different skillset, folks, idk what to tell you

the warlock thing, tho, that is pretty cool, he’ll give you that thus far, that eldritch blast thing’s been useful

but don’t ask about horseshoes, or hinges, or plate armour, nor swords, gods forbid
