I am not a passionate marketing professional but I am also an author who will soon be looking to market on social media so I have a couple of ideas that may be helpful? One thing I've noticed is you post about your books when you are online, which is good! And a large part of how tumblr works! But you are also trying to market internationally and that means your posts all get clumped together in one big group as your followers scroll through their feed, if they are the type of user who always catches back up to where they previously were in the chronology of posts.
Tumblr has the queue function where you can set a post to reblog at a different time and you can set it to release a post every few hours so that your book blasts are separated and have more chance of finding the people who only log on and scroll a few posts before closing tumblr again.
Ah yeah you know what, you're right and that is definitely a tool I've never used. I will definitely have to start queuing posts to happen every few hours whether I'm online or not.
I'm actually kinda... weirdly proud?? That I've gotten as far as I have while basically never using that particular feature
But you're right, and it is genuinely time for that to change
Thank you for your help 🥹 it means a lot to me that people care so much about what's going on with me 🥹🥹🥹 Thank you!
