I'll let you in to the secrets...first you need an amazing piano sound. After spending years just 'making do' with what I had, I decided to invest in the East West Symphonic Orchestra Gold edition - and it comes with an amaaaaazing Steiner grand piano pack. Second is a tonne of automation! I just discovered the 'hold pedal' midi automation, so have been automating that as if I was playing a real piano. Next I automated the velocity a tonne - and finally, I automated the master tempo to add more feeling and emotion.
