Posted @withregram ⢠@oprahsbookclub Orchard House in Concord, Massachusetts (@alcotts_orchard_house), is where beloved author Louisa May Alcott wrote āLittle Women,ā inspired by her experience growing up in the house with her sisters.ā ā Today, Orchard House is a museum dedicated to Alcott and her family. 80% of the Alcottsā original furniture remains in the home, including the desk where āLittle Womenā was written. The study where Alcottās father greeted guests like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau is also lovingly preserved.ā ā Orchard House's grounds and gardens are currently open to visitors, and the interior of the house will re-open this August.
