most wild thing is reading foundational chinese literary 'romance of the three kingdoms' and u get to the eunuch massacre and it's like wow this is great what an amazing story i enjoyed reading abt and learning chinese culture and history but honestly ur not even like barely a quarter of the ways thru the full text by this point. we lowkey have to poison the oldest son of the emperor becuz he sucks and ur still not even barely touching this piece there is so much it goes for miles. and its so good

i read a lot of very bleak literature which is to say franz kafka and ozamu dazai and dostoevsky and what iv gathered from these foundational and acclaimed works is that u should be able to kill ur father

i never read wuthering heights as a child bc i was a jane eyre child and one of my biggest fears genuinely and why i absolutely refuse to watch any adaption of jane eyre is the possibility at all that her relationship with rochester may be misconstrued in some way that i disagree with i genuinely wish to practice open mindedness as a saintly virtue but some of u bitches r corny(wuthering heights 2026 and dracula 1992 and dracula 2026 besson and dorian gray 2006) and i am not strong enough. im not strong enough to go thru this. i cant imagine what i would do if that had actually happened to me
