Ironically, I have quite a few fics in my pipeline that deal with (self-)isolation. Actually, I’m far too tired/exhausted/whatever this mumboo is but screw it, the fics need to see the light. And if only to cheer someone up.

There’s obviously my fic with the very telling name, “Sanctuary”. It’s currently at 15k, and I cannot stop writing. Ask my beta @totallysilvergirl​. Then there’s the AU based on a French movie. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson fall in love while fighting via a thin wall. OMG, they were neighbours, and #enemies to lovers. There’s the promised climax of the popping up of the straining buttons. Posting starts TODAY.

Sherlock moves to his new flat on a Friday. It’s the 13th and Sherlock Holmes isn’t superstitious, even he might call thirteen his lucky number from now on. Why? Because he is finally out of reach of his overbearing brother.

Sherlock knows how Mycroft sees him, how their parents saw him, and how the world is going to see him, probably to infinity: as an awkward sod.

It is high likely that they judge him at first glance: nerd glasses – and wearing them long before they got the hipster approval –, unruly curls – and not the straight-out-of-bed kind –, bespoken clothes that are screaming armour suit from far. His paleness could put Snow White to shame, and even he hasn’t advertised it as such, he is surely labelled as “aging twink”. Yes, he’s a virgin.
