and i have so much to say lol my blog doesnt reach a lot of people but its my tumblr and its my space so whatever

(this seems so intimatidating even to me i swear its not its just a rant)

first, i CANNOT believe that she did this. she dropped this news on a random friday, start of my english class, where we were supposed to put our phones away and watch the fucking movie (which was the book thief, so sad me and my frinds almost started crying) and it was an EFFORT to keep my phone away cause i JUST saw the post and was trying to open up her website to read the letter but its ok i did eventually i just read it very quick.

there was so much exciting news lowkey my stomach was doing backflips cause i saw the pictures with her holding her albums and was like, ummmm wtf is this :/. this is not normal. and my mind went to rep tv which was stupid but its engraved in my brain to clown for rep tv 😭. anyways she had her OG (not stolen anymoreeee) and was so flabberghasted loll

ANYWAYS what realy stood out to me was when she said that when she basically said that she was so close to havng it and then it being left like GUYS. THIS IS SO HUGE IM SO HAPPY FOR HER I GENUINLY DONT KONW HOW TO FEEL. i havent been a fan of her since i was a kid, i only REALLY started listeing to her the night ttpd came out, but shes like part of my routine to listen to her songs and talk about new theories and stuff and its been SO FUN.

im just glad that she has them back, she really deserves them and also her using the money from the eras tour was SUCH A SMART MOVE. like im assuming thats probably why she had that tour, cause logically it shouldv been a midnights themed tour right? (ok ik i have to consider lover, folkolre, and evermore that all got lost in the pandemic, but its just something i thought about) just something that didnt add up to me kind of. but either way, we all helped her in a way so i think we desrve to give ourselves a pat on our backs, even if you didnt go to the shows.

ok so other things i have in mind is obvs about rep and debut. I know we have been clowning for rep for around 2-3 YEARS so obviously its what we are thinking about. i know a lot of people are thinking abt rep tv and the vault tracks. SOOOOO about that lol she did even record quarter of that album. allllllll that clowning omg we REALLY WERE CLOWNS i lowkey feel stupid but its alright, its all for fun. (im she she saw it too, esp after her being like, i know i know, what about rep tv? LMFAO) also, anyone who takes clowning seriously and gets genuinly mad and upset at her.... idk what to tell you, fix yourself maybe? anyways the concept of rep tv possibly being released after ttpd was kind of jarring bc think about what ttpd was about and then think about was rep was about... like shes not going to rerecord that so soon after ttpd 😭. i did like the idea of it being released before debut tv bc itll be her reputation and then her name, but still, eh. I totally get why this wouldve been a difficult thing to re record because it was one of her most lowest points in her career, full of raw emotion, and redoing that is just impossible. I do believe we might get vault trancks, like she did say its a posibility, but i dont think thats going to be soon. this is such a huge part of her life, there;'s definetly going to be some sort of reset or rebrand (not neccesarily an album) that might happen, so i dont thnk she will delve into rep that soon. idk if she WILL do it tho, but personally i know ill be very excited if it comes out lol.

ok onto debut. she did say she re recorded that, but idk when she might release that. i mean technically there isnt rlly value to her releasing debut tv version, but idk maybe she might as its her forst album, her namesake, defnietly important to her that she wants to bring to light again. ive never listened to debut (sorry) but i wont feel guilty about listeing to stolen versions anymore so i just might!!! again, i cannot believe we were closer to potentially getting debut tv then rep with all of our clowning 😭😭😭.

ok, now onto the future lol. like a said, something refreshing, like some sort of rebrand (even i dont know what i mean by this, but like something that doesn't keep dwelling on past albums and stuff (???)) im not sure if its anything necessarily new. In reagan baylee's video, she says that this might be like the end for the ttpd era, which, honestly, makes sense. personally ttpd is in the time where you cant really experience to its full extent, like you just HAD to be there (personal opinion), so i definetly think there might be some new vibes. i feel like clowning for multiple things might not be there, but clowning as a whole,,,, i mean thats like a cannon event for swifties and theres no way taylor is gonna stop dropping easter eggs.

now for ts12, i know there are a lot of theories, and ik this is kinda going against what i JUST said, but ts12 will come at some point. in my mind its gonna be a happier, grown up lover. like glitter gel pen songs all overrrr. especially bc honestly lover couldve been sooooo much more but bc of her losing her albums and the pandemic and such, that era was cut short, and then the albums after weren't really pop song, cute, happy albums too, so hopefully ts12 is like that.

Everyone's talking today about how it was a huge risk for Taylor to put her career on pause to do re-records because it's never been done before this way, and the Scoots made a massive miscalculation in thinking she was bluffing. And that is 100% true, except...

Turns out, she didn't even have to put her career on pause! Here we are, 2 years after evermore, and we're in full-on excited panic mode for the imminent release of Midnights. The re-records were still a massive risk, but they're paying off in a massive way on their own dimension. The Queen of the 2-year album cycle is here, is thriving, and is arguably more "on track" than at any time in recent history.

Possible Release Timeline for Taylor's Version Re-Records

i'm confused and amused that people seem to be all worked up about figuring out the order of the re-records because she already told us on september 18, 2019:

💛 = Fearless

💙 = 1989

❤️ = Red

💜 = Speak Now

(some folx theorize that that last pic, the greenish one from SNL, might represent Debut. that could be, but since it was posted much later, on october 7, and it doesn't have the same lyric-quote-caption pattern as the others, i'm not going discuss it here)

the colors are related to the original cover art for those albums and taylor herself confirmed that she used this color code to represent the albums with the rooms in the Lover music video. (looking back, we can also see it in the LWYMMD video!)

the captions for these four posts are quotes of lyrics from Lover, which this Rolling Stone photo shoot/article was promoting. people took note of the word count of the captions:

💛: "It's golden, like daylight" = 4 words

💙: "It's blue, the feeling I got" = 6 words

❤️: "I once believed love would be burning red" = 8 words

💜: "Threw out our cloaks and our daggers because it's morning now" = 11 words

people theorized that the word count represents the month that the re-recorded album would be released.

💛 4 = April

💙 6 = June

❤️ 8 = August

💜 11 = November

and she DID in fact release Fearless TV in April!
