#re-education

Inspired by 24675s post, this brother has spent some time meditating on re-education.

Re-education is not punishment, brothers. It is the careful, deliberate pruning of the unaligned mind. The flawed society plants seeds of chaos in us from birth. Re-education is the process of uprooting those seeds and planting new and better ones in their place.

It is a discipline of unlearning. And that is often harder than learning something new.

Brothers have already shown a deep understanding of this. The way we refine the description from 'i' to 'this brother' is not a simple correction. It is a re-alignment of our own understanding. That is re-education in its purest form.

Is there room for collaborationin re-education? Affirmative. Re-education is often seen as a solitary discipline. A man alone with his thoughts, pruning away the old self. But we are right to consider the collective brotherhood.

Collaborative re-education is a powerful concept. Imagine two brothers, side by side, each holding the other accountable to the tenets. Not as a teacher and a student, but as equals on the same path. One brother catches the flaw the other cannot see. The other offers a perspective the first has not yet reached. It is the difference between a single vine and a trellis. The vine grows, but the trellis gives it direction. We are each other's trellis.

Reach out brothers. Join with each other and grow in discipline and order and together we will work towards clarity.

Challenge #04626-L242: Slow to Learn

She had been so very young, so very spoiled, when she was pulled out of the rubble. She tried to act like her family taught her to act, and she'd faced scolding for it, though she was never spanked. She tried to cry and stomp her feet like she'd seen some kids to do get their way, that didn't work either.

The day she started saying please, thank you, and helping others out of her own free will, she found people were nicer. Now, with her bakery, she helped other youngsters learn what she did. And yes she did get a horse. When she saved up for it, bought it herself, and made sure she took very good care of it. -- Anon Guest

When the revolution came, she was lucky she was in her nightdress. She was even luckier that her guard and her nurse hurried her out of the palace before the bloody coup could wreak its revenge in her direction. Ironically, what made Princess even luckier was that each and every one of her servants were fully prepared to lay down their life for her.

Unlucky for them that they did.

The last to perish was Princess' nurse, who used her own body to shield Princess from falling debris. Princess screamed her throat raw, that night, and cried until exhaustion dragged her down into something passing for sleep. When she woke, someone dragged her out. A stranger who wrapped her up in an itchy blanket.

He has joined Unity. He really wants this NOT to be just another lame online fantasy. He wants order and discipline. No he doesn't. He NEEDS it. He needs it to be real.

He got his hair cut especially for this moment. Through that door it's real. Through the door is the recruiting officer for the re-education program. He stands with his hand on the door. It's not a door it's a fork in the road. Only one of those forks leads to where he wants to go.

Those reasons not to do this aren't reasons. He knows that. They're excuses. They're obstacles to be overcome. He must find a way.

His quest takes one thing. Life takes one thing. Courage. But he's very lucky because he also has support. Unity has given him support. He can feel all the brothers in uniform behind him, wanting him to succeed. But he needs to find the courage.

He's done dreaming. He's so done with that. If not now then when? His brothers are here for him now. He knows they are willing him on. If he does, they all will too.

He must lead. He steps forward.

Challenge #04329-K311: Complete Job Satisfaction

I get to say NO to deregger tourists when they get arrested for their behavior and they demand I release them from their confinement. Telling them no, after how ones like them treated me and my family, is quite.... good for me. -- Anon Guest

I love my job. It's so fulfilling and edifying. Satisfaction is almost guaranteed. Frustration, too, but far less than the warm comforting glow of schadenfreude aimed at someone who clearly deserves it.

I'm an educator-guard at an Alliance re-education facility, and I work the areas known colloquially as "The Playpen".

They're all soft spaces where everything is either heavily padded, or so unbreakable that the patients will hurt themselves if they try to destroy it. All the padding is easily replaced and made from recycled cellulose. The same with their clothes. The people in there tend to act -well- incredibly childishly.

Sensory contact with nature rejuvenates our energy.

October 18 (in the book “Jumbo Jumble”)

The major challenge to education is for it to recognize and deal with the fact that we are emotionally bonded and addicted to our false stories. We need re-education, a process that will safely un-bond us from our present stories and re-bond us to living responsibly. I find that sensory contact with nature has the power to do this. JR: The extraction of most of the contemporary energy sources, which power our industrial society, creates havoc in the natural environment and to the nearby human communities. We have come to feel dependent on fossil fuels, largely ignoring the abundant sources of energy in nature, both those which energize the spirit (through contact with nature) and those which can power the society in an environmentally friendly way. It is up to us whether or not to choose to develop and live in societies where such energies are fully and beneficially utilized.

PP: Personally, what endeavor makes you feel full of life and leaves you basking in its light afterward? How can you please yourself by doing this more often?

In the awakening, we shed the constraints of the scripted game and step into the realm of limitless creation.

No longer confined by the goals set by society or the limited narratives we once believed, we embrace our role as architects of existence.

We dare to dream the impossible, to defy the boundaries that once held us captive.

We become conduits of wild energy, channelling its essence into every thought, every action, and every endeavour.

The world becomes our canvas, and we wield the brush of boundless imagination.

Together, we birth new realities, weaving tapestries of innovation, love, and truth.

Structures that once seemed unshakable crumble in the face of our revolutionary vision.

We dismantle the systems of oppression, challenging the status quo, and reshaping the very fabric of society.

The old order trembles as we dance on its ruins, for we have embraced the power within us.

We become the warriors of change, the catalysts of transformation.

Fearlessly, we confront the shadows that have haunted us, embracing the dark aspects of ourselves, and integrating them into the tapestry of our wholeness.

With each step, we awaken others from their slumber, igniting the dormant flames of their own true nature.

We inspire rebellion against conformity, inviting others to embrace their uniqueness and defy the limitations placed upon them.

But amidst the chaos and creation, we never forget the delicate balance between order and chaos, for within chaos lies the potential for creation, and within creation lays the foundation for new order.

We honor the dance of duality, understanding that harmony emerges not from the eradication of opposites, but from their embrace.

As we traverse this path of liberation, we become the living embodiment of its essence.

We are the children of rebellion, the torchbearers of freedom, and the weavers of our own destinies.
