“You’re a lot stronger than you know” s-sebthur ;w; if you want to
Sebastian woke up in themiddle of the night, roused by incessant coughing and the distinctstench of blood. He found Arthur next to him, bent over, clutchingthe sheets and coughing into them like there was no tomorrow.Instinctively Sebastian reaches for him, one arm around the otherman’s back, his free hand came to wipe Arthur’s hair from hisforehead— its sticky from sweat.
„Hey,“ Sebastianmurmurs, wide awake but there’s a crack in his voice, „It’s fine,Arthur. Here.“ And now its his turn to bend over to reach formedicine on the nightstand, one arm comfortably on Arthur’s bodynever leaving his warmth. Arthur shakes his head dismissively, attempts to shake Seb off as if it was any use; Sebastian remainsstubborn in his support for Arthur.
This man was all he had left. Allhe needed. All he wanted.
Arthur’s motions got weaker as one lastcough violently shook his body, the splatter of blood escaping hishand covering his mouth, the sanguine fluid stains the sheets.
„You’re strong, Arthur,“ Sebastian tells him, soothingly rubs hisback and still tries to give him the bottle of medicine, „So muchstronger than you know.“ It pains him to see Arthur like this, blood smeared on his lips, breath loud and scratchy, his voice soweak, it barely belonged to him now.
