I don't read The Missing, but WHY this is Faye's fault some of you can't hear multiple warnings and take care of yourselves?!
Odin/Odette was marked as a very disturbing and triggering route SINCE THE BEGINNING. Fuck, their route actually needs MC to be corrupted, so it takes an effort to even be able to see scenes with them. Moreover, right before that choice there was a warning about scene's content!
WHY SOME OF YOU ARE FUCKING IDIOTS??? WHY YOU MAKE EFFORTS TO GET WHAT YOU HATE???
And more important, WHY YOU BLAME THE AUTHOR AND WRITE DIRECTLY TO HER?!?! Faye did EVERYTHING to keep readers who are triggered with these scenes safe. FUCKING EVERYTHING.
For people who still can't get my point: it's completely and absolutely ok to have triggers, just having them isn't a problem at all. The problem is when you don't take care and filter content you see, especially when it's marked very properly, and blame its authors. Faye did everything to warn her readers about O's route and scene it contains, so it's just impossible to see such scenes without knowing and be prepared.
Fuck. Usually I'm very compassionate and kind, but now I'm not. If you tossed away every Faye's warning, got O's route, took that scene and came whining to her, you have no one to blame than yourselves, and serves you well, really. You had it coming.
