Can we have more Asian MCs that look like this?
Most Asian MC sprites look like K-pop stars. They look the same almost every time. Asia is a HUGE continent with so many more countries and ethnicities!
My favorite Asian MCs are actually Thai Ghita and Isla (such a waste on PUB1).
Can we step away from K-pop and manga characters for just a sec and have more Asian diversity? This woman is beautiful!
(Maybe I need to make that female sprite post after allβ¦)
all the favorite characters from Code Blue are here!
nothing will convince me that all of the people haranguing yim about flint's biological sex aren't really just sitting there like "yeah yeah whatever they're "nonbinary" but they're ACTUALLY a man, right? they've got a dick, RIGHT?!" π
Confession:
"The ROs are designed to be attractive, and while not everything might float your boat, no one can deny that all of them are objectively beautiful. Personally, I appreciate the ones that don't look like a ken doll. Like the ROs in TM and CB"

Ahhh the wait was so worth it!!! Literally the highlight of this update for me!! π₯°
Code blue has its flaws but the one thing that I love about it is the portrayal of trauma. All of us can sense that jules has some sort of a childhood trauma, but it's not in your face, it's really subtle; jules jokes around, makes friends, goes to concerts, loves dating, and YET we can feel that there is SOMETHING quite not right. You gotta really focus in on their inner monologues to get those gears running. It's those tiny slip ups that let us know that what they're doing is not normal and Yim has truly done a great job portraying it in such a realistic manner. That's honestly how trauma shows up in the majority of the cases; subtle yet unnerving. Especially childhood trauma, you normalise the negative habits so much that you don't even question them, you don't even feel sad because it's just something that...is. I don't wanna be rude but this is something that anastasia can learn from yim; you can talk about mental health issues without them being overwhelming for the reader.
