MLK DAY in Redondo Beach will never be the same. Dr. Goodloe brought the talent. I handled the marketing and publicity. Captain Naylor kept the wheels on the bus and together, we got it done. 🤜🏼🤛🏾Community buy-in was a huge factor. How we sell this to our board, our community, and surrounding areas was pivotal. We had to tell the story and show them that this book has a happy ending. Telling the story again and again to get the sponsors and our elected officials to bring their effort and energy to the table was essential. 💪🏾 And on this day, the story was told from so many different perspectives. There was no way that you would leave without being touched by the enormity of the evening. ❤️ Thank you to those that came out to support and those that supported in the background with the love and effort.
