Actors are by nature volatile – alchemic creatures composed of incendiary elements, emotion and ego and envy. Heat them up, stir them together, and sometimes you get gold. Sometimes disaster.

Power doesn’t have to be a burden. If it’s too heavy ‘round your neck, keep it somewhere else. In a drawer. Under your bed.

Betrayals don’t cancel each other out. They just hurt more.

You can’t substitute material things for love or for gentleness or for tenderness or for a sense of comradeship.
