Art stuff is happening!
On thursday next (Feb 2nd) it’s the RAW showcase in Canberra and I am super pumped!
I wasn’t able to apply for this year, but I will be there at the Belconnen Arts Center as an assistant to Maddie (who I had a stall with at the Sly Fox markets last year). She’s a multi-disciplinary artist and performer and an excellent friend. Come and say hello, buy some art, and meet some rad musicians/painters/makeup artists/filmmakers :D
If you don’t live in the area but you have arty followers, please reblog and share the news! RAW takes place in all Australian major cities as well as in various locations in America, Canada and the UK. It’s a super cool indie art event which supports local artists and helps them to network, make money and get recognition, so even if you weren’t in time to submit your own work to the showcase, please consider attending as a guest or audience member! Who knows, maybe you’ll get to meet your new favourite artist in person :)

Next Friday night (June 10) i’ll be participating in RAW: Trend in Flemington. It’ll be a great night filled with art, mad music, drinks, and good times. If you wanna come, tickets are $20 (cheaper online than what they’ll be on the night) and when prompted, all you have to do is select my name “Lucy Mutimer” from the list of artists you’ll be supporting.

Guys!! Exciting news!! On Sept. 26th I'll be taking part in a RAW showcase in Salt Lake City! This is a show featuring fine art, illustration, fashion, music, and much much more! One of my good friends from up here did this a while back, and while it was stressful, she said is was a great experience...and really helped get her work out there. Gosh...now I need to draw things..... If you live in Utah/near Salt Lake, and are interested......please please come!
