I really like "Gravity Falls", though I haven't watched a lot of it. That Wendy picture is one of my most favorite pieces that I've made. It was when I feel like my "Cartoony" style was at its peak. I wish I could find my way back there. The reason I chose Bill Cipher for the background in that Raven picture is because I wanted to put something back there, and he seemed like a "King in Yellow", since he's...well...yellow. And kind of a king? Cipher is also a Euclidean, and everyone knows how fond Lovecraft was of "non-Euclidean" geometry. And Lovecraft referred to Robert Chambers (the author of "The King in Yellow" as a Titan.
So in a weird way it makes sense to use Bill Cipher in the background in a picture of Raven dressed as The Queen in Yellow. It makes sense enough for me, anyway!
