If unserious ships are okay uh Rogue/Natsu? Cause i just think itd be Funny (i dont personally know Why i just feel like it would be)
Oh that's devious. A low-energy guy like Rogue, with the high-energy bundle of bad ideas and aggression that is Natsu?
Rogue is the closest thing we have to the exact opposite of Natsu: he is quiet, passive, and contemplative, while being soft and emotional. Natsu is much to Rogue as Sting is, except amped up even more--direct, boisterous, daring, aggressive, and loves to fight. It is quite the difficult relationship at times.
Remember what I said about Sting and Natsu? About how Sting's magic is antithetical to Natsu's demonic nature and even being near him is painful? You might think Rogue's magic has the opposite effect, but it doesn't. Like I said here, Rogue's magic isn't 'darkness' or 'unholy' by nature--it's just shadow.
However, Rogue does have the benefit of the same adaptability of White Dragonslaying magic. While he can't eat anything black-colored, he can eat anything that rejects light and energy. Meaning, all sorts of dark magic and even magic barrier particles are on the table to eat and power up with. This includes the Etherious energies running through Natsu's body, so Rogue can actually leech those out of Natsu and help prevent him from succumbing to demonization.
Conversely, though, this has negative effects on Rogue. Rogue can't just suck the demon out of Natsu much as we wish he could without those particles taking root in himself, and his possessed shadow could cross badly with that phenomenon.
It's Frosch playing with Happy that brings the two of them together. Happy, and by extension Natsu, quickly became two of Frosch's favorite people somehow, and therefore Rogue began spending a lot more time around them, and any friend of Frosch's is a friend of Rogue's. In a way, this helped Rogue interact with Natsu as well--the short attention span and happy-go-lucky nature were, well, easy to deal with given his experience.
Rogue once found a picture of Natsu shrunk down by Habaraki, and was so overcome with the cuteness he didn't stop talking about it all day.
