Miscellaneous garden updates!
- Put these guys outside! They’re an uncommonly grown Australian nightshade with edible green-yellow berries, Solanum opacum.
- The rat tail radishes are fruiting! The green ones are a little more sweet like Cherry Belle while the purple cultivar has more spice to them and tastes the same as a more pungent radish. (Raphanus raphanistrum subsp. sativus)
- The buzz buttons (Acemella oleracea) are also flowering! The leaves and flowers of this plant are edible and make your mouth salivate and feel tingly and numb. Other names for the plant include Toothache plant and Szechuan Button.
