Kassandraâs voice is soft, kinder than she usually is but as she watches Winifred, the girlâs quiet mouselike nature seemingly innocent, she knows she has to speak softly.
âThey gossip, they always do⊠itâs not worth worrying about.â
Winifred looks at her then and she barely hides her smile. She knows, too well, what happened, what always happens. The girl is kind, has always been kind since she was brought into this mess. Easily hurt, sometimes, but stronger than she gives herself credit for.
âYou caused a scandal⊠so what.â
âSo, they hate me.â
âWho cares? They hate themselves moreâŠâ

Later, of course, it makes sense. Winifred watches Kassandra with Violet, the way she smiles, talks and teases. Scandal, it seems, will always be a problem, but now, as Kassandra leads Violet into the dance, she understands. People will turn away from her, as a scandal, looking at Kassandra instead. A simple truth, but one that even now Winifred knows is a blessing.
Happy pride besties! To celebrate, I am here with a nice little itty bitty pride giveaway! This will be limited to queer ocs since it is a pride event, but absolutely any and all identities that are not cishet are welcome!
I am offering pride moodboards and flag gifs, as well as a fun little crossover option! For the gifs, I will do my best for anyone who requests them but if I cannot find gifable content for the fc, I may do a moodboard instead!

For crossovers: they do not have to be romantic in nature (in this house we love and support platonic relationships as being equally as important as romantic), and they can be m/f romantic ships too, but they do have to be for queer ocs! Conveniently all of my ocs are some flavour of queer so as long as yours is too, life is good!

Iâm going to be offering a lot of different types of gifts just for fun, but there are no rules or restrictions on what gifts can be made in return! Absolutely anything is completely and totally a-okay, plus every request can also come with a crossover gift request, two-for-one no extra exchange required! I wonât post a gift until youâve posted yours, but you can submit as many requests as youâd like before posting any gifts â Each form asks for you to choose three gift options per submission (three for ocs and three for crossovers) and Iâll choose one of them, but youâre welcome to submit as many forms and ocs as you want!
As of now, this will be running until midnight of December 31st, but I might extend it to New Yearâs if I feel up for it, or if Iâm running behind on making gifts!  The rules and the submission form are below the cut!

You can submit as many forms as you want but each form requires at least three gift options! There are plenty of options to choose from but if you want to request something different, there is a something else/specify section option too but I canât guarantee being able to do thatÂ

With that: drabbles are an option (for crossovers only), there is a spot that asks for ideas. This is not strictly a requirement but it would help me a lot if you gave me ideas for a vibe (happy, angst, soft, smut, etc whatever), a scenario, or even something from my prompt list tag! You donât have to but it would help make sure that Iâm writing something youâre interested in and going to enjoy
