This has been the past few days around here. Busy with work stuff. Found a few cheap things on the way back home a few times that includes Tetris on the Famicom and Mr. Driller on the GBC! I even found another copy of my favorite Super Famicom game - Front Mission Gun Hazard! I also got a bunch more promotional material to go with my other bunches of promo stuff. Good week for pick ups ^.^
I’ve had the joy of introducing myself to my new neighbors this afternoon. I was explaining that my gf and I work from home most of the time and we can hear their animal screams while we work and as well as randomly at 4 in the morning, or such as this afternoon before I came over to knock. I waited until they were done and then I knocked, telling the dude who answered - that I get it - My gf and I both get it... But the dude was still beyond flustered having me explain that he needs to put a pillow over it or something. But alas it is quiet in my place. They are too afraid to even speak now o.o. Self awareness can do that to people I guess. Hope everyone is keeping their loud animal noises to a considerate level!
Swimmers by Broken Social Scene
After 10 months of being in California, I’ve just been trying to get back into the swing of things here in Osaka. These were just some moments in between a lot of work. @approachingfarewell and I went to the park down the street for a picnic since we missed doing that. It is strange seeing it just before Fall since I’ve only ever seen it with red/orange leaves. Still beautiful as ever though.
Things are going great at the moment which is a relief considering the first week anywhere is usually the hardest (for myself at least). We are deciding on how to finish up the apartment and moving out the remaining old furniture. You can see what I mean by old furniture in the bottom pic that has our new monitor for current gen systems! Hopefully we can decide on some drawers and possibly a new cabinet/tv stand to replace the eye sores in the apartment but even if that doesn’t happen soon I’m excited to be able to play my current gen games here (finally)! Only took two years but here we are now..and just in time for MGO too ;D!!
I picked this up today! Going to start reading it but I was pretty excited and wanted to show this off now. My cousin and I found this while we were snooping around Barnes & Noble. We were literally nearing the end of an hour long conversation regarding Kojima when we came across the title. I’m very excited to read through this! Printed MGS anything is great!

I’m grading papers rn. Here’s some stuff I got over the weekend o.o… that I forgot to post yesterday. I’m still alive! I’ll probably take a break from mgsv and start getting ready to leave. Going back to japan on the 29th. This time should be the last time. I keep saying that but plans keep changing. My girlfriend and I will be in Vancouver for 12 hours because of a layover. I would like to go downtown during the layover. Anybody in the area (or anyone who has been there) have any recommendations?
