Sometimes I get stuck on RP and what should happen next, so I'm going to start using a list of random occurrences -- things that could happen to spark a little action. (See "random bunny in the greenhouse" for a recent example.) When I get stuck, I'll roll a dice or use a random number generator to figure out what happens.

Here is my list at the moment. Please comment further ideas to add to it!

random animal shows up - cat, dog, bird, bunny, snake, insect, etc.

random skeleton/other character interrupts

random noise - scream, bang, scratching, scraping, crash, barking, meowing, hiss, whistle, somebody singing or playing music…

random kid shows up -- could be a skeleton kid or a complete random child, depending on where you are

random text/phone call

random weather event - rain, wind, thunder

brother bother - prank, problem

Roll again!

So a random person calls me, now i usually don't answer random numbers but like had just ordered food like a few minutes ago i thought "Oh! The delivery guy is having some issues finding my apartment." because it has happened twice. So i answered the phone and it WAS a guy delivering something, and i told him the directions in the same way i told the other delivery guys. He was confused, so i tried again and he was STILL confused and so was i.

Apparently this guy was supposed to be delivering a water gallon to this girl i'll called "Blair", and we both coincidentally have the same supermarket chain that's next to a road that leads to an apartment.
