#random crushes

I never used to get a lot of crushes, a few sure but I never really paid attention to people I didn’t really know. But ever since the pandemic started, I’ve been stuck at home all the time, by myself. Now I get crushes all the time. 

The cashier girl telling me my dress is pretty=crush. Random guy at the library=crush. Classmates I know nothing about on Zoom=crush

I will confess that after watching a random special on Ebola on Nat Geo, I’ve developed a crush on the American dr who survived Ebola once, then months later, they found it hiding out in his eye. Dr. Ian Crozier? They flew him to Emory? Was the sickest patient they treated there? He was cute. Tall. Ring any bells?

Remember, his blue eye turned green due to the virus? It was like late 2014, then like mid-2015 when he was in the news again. It was pre-Trump, so it seems like eons ago...

I confess this only because it’s such an odd and random interest, and I feel like it’s utter WTF-ness needs to be recorded here on Tumblr.

So here’s to my wacky 2020 crush on Dr. Ian Crozier. Handsome, 6-foot-5 Ebola survivor...may you and your infectious disease specialist background one day appear on my tv to talk about the Coronavirus. 😏

I post these as a public service, for the next soul who gets a crush on a 1970s rocker who has been dead for over 30 years, as a beacon to continue their obscure crush. 😉
