The most #atlanta foodie situation happened to me last night. I hate the word 'foodie' but it's applicable here. Damn. So I'm walking out of @nextoatl and run into my chef-friend @jkforson (formerly of The Spence!) who also happens to be a full-time forager (yes that's a thing) via @mylesjonesproject - so me being the well connected, food plug that I am, I asked him if he had any #ramps aka the Onion Kings of Spring. Of course he had a cooler full in his car, so I found my fiend-ass buying a $20 bag underneath the BeltLine bridge off Ralph McGill. Fam, these onions are $40 a pound if you can even find them!
