I was wondering what to post today, for a little break from my cards and prints, and since that’s almost all that I’ve been working on for almost a month, I don’t have any new art. And while walking in the very cold air outside, I heard in my ears « take me away from the ice and the snow 🎶 » and thought « let’s go to Nassau ! » the only place capable of warming my frozen bones right now. My John Silver ☠️🖤 I really love this very dark John Silver, and a thing that amazes me is that within the huge transformation his character goes through during the story, we can see his eyes change. One of the things I love about the characters I draw, is how I can relate to them. What part of them are already part of me, and also the things that I miss and wish to add more in my life. And clearly, Flint has always been here to bring me focus, determination, and boldness.
