Yashiro smiled some at the other, almost straightening himself up in the presence of HOMRA’s Lion Tamer, parasol gently taping onto the ground as he cleared his throat momentarily to speak.

“You’re Totsuka, aren’t you?” The Silver King asked, offering out a hand of his towards the other man. “Yashiro Isana – ”

   “  Oh  dear,  if  you  go  out  now  without  an  umbrella,  your  beautiful  camera  will  be  ruined.  “

   It  was  a  perfect  opportunity  to  swoop  in,  and  the  J-rank  was  certainly  not  about  to  miss  the  opportunity  to  do  so.  HOMRA’S  Tatara  Totsuka  appearing  in  the  small  cafe  was  certainly  not  planned,  but  it  was  an  opportunity  worth  pursuing. 

He hated seeing Totsuka like this. With every fiber of his being. Despite the stern look on his face Izumo was far from angry. Really, he could understand why the smaller man felt this way. Still, he wanted to straighten a few things out in hopes of clearing some of that regret, even if it was temporary. Gently, carefully, he took Totsuka’s face in his hands and lifted it to make him look back up. “You listen to me, Tatara Totsuka...” He started, using his thumbs to wipe tears away.

Yata couldn’t deny that he’d stayed up a little too long, as well as this day having been busier than usual, which had quickly drained his energy. The invitation was tempting, but Yata remained somewhat hesistant. It had been ages since the last time he’d napped together with someone, but Totsuka seeming so warm and welcoming was hard to resist when all you wanted to do was crash into bed.

Hazel eyes followed the butterfly’s movement for a moment, before Yata walked over eventually, plopping down beside Totsuka. He could instantly feel the other’s pleasant warmth surrounding him, which made him relax with ease.

This year, it had snowed quite a lot in Shizume City, having covered buildings and streets alike in a thick layer of white which made everything seem much quieter and more peaceful. With a weather like this, there wasn’t much to do, there were barely people in the streets, the snow making it nearly impossible to move about.

A good day to go out and have fun for a bit, while the usual busy city life had come to a halt, even if not for long. Like this, it was easy to forget about any worries, and just have a good time.
