* Frost breaks into the palace and freezes some people
* Rain spots her sneaking around
Frost clings to the ceiling, peaking into the throne from the very edge of the vast halls. With quiet and deft precision, the skills she worked with her whole life, she might manage to snatch, in the very least, her brother from the pit he’s dug for himself. She silently pondered, but the time she had to act only grew shorter. She only had one chance…
“What are we looking at?” A curious voice whispered to Frost.

To say she was startled would be quite the understatement, but it was only a millisecond of falling through the air till she was on her feet in a defensive stance. The water that dripped– nay– poured like a mini waterfall from the ceiling, pooled into a puddle and then took the shape of a… man? Maybe a butch… Kind of hard for Frost to tell… Not that it mattered. “Your work is formidable, I must say. But, it’s also sloppy.”
Frost didn’t have too much time to process the condescension. A swing of the stranger’s staff summoned a wave that swept her off her feet and into the next room. (Unspecified because the layout of buildings in this game is a fucked up mystery.) Already, her opponent was before her once more. “Don’t think it takes any sort of skill to get past the guards’ equivalent of a doorman. It’s a neat parlor trick, really, but let’s see how you hold up against a real challenge.”
* Fight scene commence, and they counter each other perfectly at every strike. But Frost’s suit get messed up in the process.
* Frost backs off for a bit
“Alright, enough of the games. You wanna talk about tricks? Ditch the hocus pocus bullshit. I’m taking you on, hand-to-hand.” Frost shouted as she shed her armor.
* Fighting, fighting, fighting.
* Frost is a little impressed she’s found an equal match.
* Stray Umgadi priestess walks in on them.
* It’s kinda awkward cus they’re all sweaty and panting and all up on each other
* Frost escapes and Rain’s okay with that
Extra
* Frost’s animality would be a Canadian lynx. Totally appropriate if you ask me.
* By pure coincidence:
1. Rain is a cat person
2. It works as a call-back to when Rain said she had the personality of a feral cat
* 2x multiplier type shit
* Frost will ask Rain if that’s his given name, he’ll tell her his name is Zeffeero. Rain asks her the same question, and she confesses her name is Lisa. They bond over their weird name choices.
