Joe Hill's novella is adapted to comic form, showing the devastation of shards raining down and piercing everything and everyone caught in it. It's the Apocalypse for Boulder, Colorado.
I picked this one because of the cover and hearing some people recommend it. I enjoyed the main character and the art most. This was my first of artist Zoe Thorogood's work. I have two of her books on my to-read list, so I'm more interested in them. This was my second story of Joe Hill. I didn't realize it was his story until a few days before I read it. That and the intro prepared me for the tone.
I also want to another book by Sofia Segovia, who wrote The Murmur of Bees.
