Has Zim seen Pinky and the Brain? If so, what does he think of it?

I have been re-reading Stardust and Nightlights, and have found information that I had glossed over last time. Which is: “Gir says that both him and Zim “pretend” sleep.” In which he also says that they do it with their eyes open.
So is there something there? As in do they actually go through some sort of idle state or is it Zim having flashbacks? Or am I just overthinking things? (It could be nothing, just curious)

It’s the same situation that Dib walked in on once in Galaxy Days
What Gir describes as Zim ‘sleeping’ with his eyes open is a subtle description of instances of Zim disassociating, and at times, having silent panic attacks. Although he witnesses Zim have these moments more than anyone else, Gir does not understand what is happening.
I also tried to imply that Gir sits with Zim in those moments just to provide quiet company, even if he doesn’t know what’s going on.
I just realized this, Dib has not slept. he has been knocked out from damage, as was as intoxication. But he hasn’t even slept- not to mention all the injuries he has accumulated from the bar fights and interrogations. Bro how is he not dead- and now he gotta go pick up Zim from the mad man- he has practically thrown up all the food he had eaten earlier as well- THIS GUY IS GOING ON ONLY PURE ADRENALINE OMG /lh /hj

I’m kinda curious, on a scale of 1 - 12, how much pain does Zim feel when his antenna gets touched or grabbed on. I have assumed it’s a lot but Yea I’m just curious
I hc that antenna are pretty similar to how human ears are sensitive, and it’s different for everyone (like, how some people cry when they get piercing and other people cant even feel it)
Touch it normally? Well, if you do it without permission he’d be pretty annoyed, but not hurt. Though if you yank or grab an antenna is would hurt, kinda like someone grabbing your ear lobe and yanking it too. I’d say a 4-6.

Based off of the Drunk Zim comic, what would Dib do once Zim practically launches himself on to him passed out?
Nothing. He can’t do anything, Zim is too heavy on him and he’s a fool if he thinks that he’s gonna be able to crawl out from under him and the Pak is just gonna allow that.
So he just lays there and accepts his fate until Zim wakes up
Mini Devlog - #6
It's been a busy couple of weeks as I've been tackling several things in preparation for some upcoming goals and well, planning what's to come for 2019!
I'm going to try to tackle these "mini-devlogs" in a more repeatable format, and maybe concluding the month with a larger overview of progress, etc.
Accomplishments this week:
Upgraded to the latest Unity version. Originally we withheld from doing so due to a bug. After discovering the root cause, we've found a workaround, and looks at though Unity has identified/reproduced the issue as well.
Updated several model sheets for a few characters. Minor tweaks were made to several of them that kinda took minor details that all the artists individually (and often, inadvertently) contributed.
Scoped out the demo requirements a bit. Some items/features are going to be cut (or have been already), while other items have been more clearly identified. Things here are actually coming along pretty great!
Started documenting some guidelines/processes that have up until now been "tribal knowledge" and not as readily apparent for new members that enter the team.
Reworked a lot of input/control features. This includes the ability to "hold/charge" attacks, as well as the ability to bind attacks to a joystick. I've also set up controls a bit better to where they potentially be remapped (once I get to working on a control remapper).
Recruited someone to help out with creating particles/vfx. We've already got a few tests back, and they look wonderful!
Begun prepping for the next character reveal. They'll show up sooner or later ~
Workflow improvement: Rough Animator on the iPad has been a great, on the good app for animation. I've given it a test run and I actually see some potential in using it for roughs and possibly more.
Next Focus:
Sounds and Particles/VFX. Now that a lot of combat and movement features are much more developed, I'm really eager to add on some bells and whistles (and verify the pipeline for getting these things imported and working for different scenarios)
AI: Looking to get some enemies doing some cool things again. I've actually got a more solid AI framework going (compared to the mess I had a year ago), but we need to actually start looking at individual behaviors for different enemies more thoroughly.
Updating the Patreon page and Website/Blog design. I haven't exactly touched either in a while, but want to make things a little more attractive here and there.
UI: Been holding off on this, I really should look at getting things in this area more fleshed out from not only a design standpoint, but functionality
Character Reveal: “Bomb Boy”
So for the raccoon fans out there...
Meet “Bomb Boy” the Raggoon, the nickname for one of the Particulate pollutants and a pretty common baddie!
This may come as a surprise, but Bomb Boy specializes in bombs, packed with an explosive force of different gasses.
“Bomb Boy” was designed by Komoroshi!
Above is an animation by @pitiyindee, broken down into a few phases to show the process. Piti starts off usually by offering some ideas for attacks based on a provided character description, then after some are chosen, we move on to roughing out the animation.
Once we have a good feel of the overall direction, additional details and frames are added until it’s to a point where it can be tested in engine.
