The moment I was introduced to this song I went absolutely off the walls. The lyrics and the sound mixing so perfectly describe how Raf would act at this point of the story— desperately clinging onto his last grain of sanity, teasing Theo for simultaneously losing xir own.

The tailor is on xir last legs, but he’s not going to make that clear if he can help it. Raf wants nothing more than to drive that last bit out of him- by threatening, toying, and just plain annoying xem.

Raf is fully aware he’s losing it as well— Theo lasting this long (10 days, as opposed to the 2 or 3 he’d expected) is testing his own resolve— but ultimately, he finds it an almost enjoyable experience. Even as Theo ceases to respond.
