We did the Lavers Hills-Beech Forrest lap including a 20kms individual time trial. 105kms in the wind & hills gotta make you stronger followed by an easy 30min jog off the bike. Great to be back in Gtown 🙂 Some exciting news from October with our squad sessions! 1) We will be using Geelong Grammar School swimming pool as our GPC pool from now on and our open water swim squad will be on each Tuesday and Thursday from 6 until 7:15am. Best pool in Geelong and only $10 per squad session. First swim is free! 2) We will have two coaches on duty each Thursday at Landy field from 5:30 until 7:30pm. Coach Peri will be on the track and Coach Kate will be on the MTB with nutrition to help and support the long distance running & IM crew. 3) We are back doing our Monster Wednesdays from Growlers each week from 7am. The coaches will be pacing each of the 2 groups over the 4 to 7h bike rides... 4) We are offering a long and easy run each Thursday at 7:45am at the You Yangs main car park followed by an easy spin on the road. 5) Our Saturday long rides and Sunday long runs are back and are open to all levels (distances can be adapted to each person) 6) Our Eastern Beach open water swims are back too.
