Looking for a stormy or colorful summer beach read? @priscellie and Ihad way too much fun creating some romance novel versions of Rhythm of War and Warbreaker. I made the illustrations and Priscillie made them look like actual books – beautifully ridiculous, curly typography, mock-up and all. I hope that there will be more :D

She's wearing a teal dress with a Mesoamerican vibe that reveals her midriff and leaves her shoulders bare, but with a long train that blows off to the side. Her arms are painted in looping gold shapes. Her hair is blonde for most of its length, but it's beginning to change to a vivid red at the scalp. It's wrapped in teal ribbon to match her dress. Susebron has long, sleek black hair caught by the wind, chunky gold earrings and a slim gold cuff at his upper arm, and is wrapped in long white strips of awakened cloth that snake through the image in an energetic explosion of fabric. He gazes at her in handsome adoration and abandon, and she gazes back in love tempered by concern. The title has the same diagonal and italicized design with the same typeface and flourishes, but the title is jazzed up with shimmery, iridescent type. At the top is the tagling "She was forced to marry a god... Then she took his breath away!"

I love fabrial science, I think it’s so incredibly cool. I know that Sandersons whole plan is to make the transition from fantasy to science and I just think he’s doing that so well. He obviously loves building really detailed magic systems, and one problem of that is that eventually they don’t feel all that magic anymore. But in this instance that’s like the whole point. I think it’s so cool seeing an industrial revolution happen in real time on roshar, except with a magical resource that has the potential to be infinite (don’t kill all the chasamfiends you guys). Ie not destroy their planet. (Nothing happened in wind and truth to prevent or change this, trust) And I never really felt like fabrials became less magical? It’s just a natural progression of the things we know they can do. Because we are watching these things develop in real time, it feels like we’re making these discoveries alongside navani. Anyways rhythm of war I love you, possibly my favorite stormlight archive book, fabrial science you’re the best. Doomed yuri bonding over the wonder of discovery?? So good. So good.
Hey Stormlight Characters, Should the Stormlight TV Show be Animated or Live Action?
Sure, we've all been debating about which would be best. But why hasn't anyone asked the people who might care the most--the characters themselves?
1. Lift
Lift: Animated. For sure. Lift: No way any actor could have a butt as good as Dalinar's. Lift: What, do they swing a sword around constantly AND act? No way. Lift: Only animation can handle it. Navani: Hard agree.
2. Navani
Navani: Personally, I care deeply about the fabrial physics looking good. Navani: Animation seems like a better vehicle for that. Sibling: Finally, fabrials that don't hurt spren.
3. Raboniel
Raboniel: The Voice of Lights is too narrow in her thinking. Raboniel: Make it live action. Raboniel: Perhaps those humans too will make discoveries that will change the world. Navani: ....Are you under the impression that they will actually build a god-killing bomb for their TV show? Raboniel: They will if they commit.
4. Syl
Syl: Live action, please! Syl: I have to know what beautiful, glamorous, charismatic actress they cast me as! Adolin: Oh! Oh! Maybe one of those muppets! Syl: .... Adolin: T-They're very well respected!
5. Adolin
Adolin: Ugh, I'm torn. Adolin: It would be so fun to see real horses playing Sureblood and Gallant. Adolin: Plus, live action fight choreo would be so good! Adolin: Not to mention the costuming! Adolin: ... Adolin: I've talked myself into it. Live action please!

Shallan: Animated. Shallan: Drawings are simply cooler. Inherently. Adolin: You make a good case, too...

Pattern: Mmmmm.....live action! Pattern: Practical effects are more interesting lies! Shallan: They might have...trouble with your head. Pattern: Trouble can be good!
