Random Rant - In loving memory of Fiji ❤️🙏🏾.
Rabbits are often misunderstood. Too many still see them as “low-maintenance” pets — quiet, simple, easy. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Their needs run deep, delicate as their hearts, and just as vital.
Few vets are trained in their unique anatomy and complex needs. It’s giving NHS waiting list, but for animals who can’t speak up when they’re in pain.
There’s a tragic irony in how quietly they suffer. Rabbits are masters of hiding illness — a survival instinct in the wild that too often leads to late diagnoses in homes. Many only reach a vet when it’s already too late.
Personally, I believe rabbits are the purest form of love wrapped in fur — soft as a whisper, but deserving of a roar of attention. They need — and deserve — the same level of care, commitment, and respect we so readily offer to cats and dogs.
I pray one day i can hold and love you once again be by your side forever.
