I thought I'd finally make it through my first Art Fight without adding a new character. Whelp, I'm adding a new character!

This is a Ratchet and Sasha fankid, tentatively named Nadya. The placeholder name I've had for her for ages was "Chancie," but I knew I wasn't gonna keep it.

1) So blushing is something that happens to skin, which is not visible through fur. I imagine that their equivalent of blushing is that their fur will poof out a certain extra-fluffy way, almost resembling raising from static. I just think it’s really cute to imagine ok and before you ask yes I am ABSOLUTELY gonna draw some art for my otp involving this hc

2) They can growl, and their growl sounds somewhere between a lion and a gator, but quieter, and it’s completely involuntary and only happens when they’re super SUPER CRAZY angry and actively suppressing themselves from speaking/screaming so it’s basically like vocally fuming with otherwise silent rage.

3) Lombaxes typically have 3 toe(claws?), two larger ones and a pinky-ish one on the outside edge of their feet. I imagine that some Lombaxes are basically polydactyl, and have a smaller toe on the inner edge of their feet, and sometimes an additional smallest one on the outer edge, meaning they can have 4-5 in rare instances instead of 3.

4) When expressing physical affection, they will often unthinkingly wrap their tail around who or whatever it is they’re holding/cuddling. If it’s another lombax, or species with a longer tail and similar instinct, they’ll wrap their tails together.

5) Lombaxes can purr as children, but as their vocal cords develop they slowly lose the ability to do so, losing it entirely by adulthood. However, they will still feel like they’re purring, even though they’re not making any sound.

6) Lombaxes take pride in their tails, and there are MANY different shapes and styles they can have. One of the most shameful things a lombax can experience is losing their tail. It’s also used as a punishment for some of the most deplorable crimes imaginable, serving as a symbol of their heresy. Furthermore, the only reason Alister still has his is bc they didn’t have enough time to snip it bc they were too busy fleeing the galaxy and had much bigger priorities at the time.
