🇮🇳 Nurturing Young Minds, Celebrating the Spirit of Independence 🇮🇳

As part of the Independence Day 2026 Celebrations, Paradip Port Authority (PPA) successfully organized Painting, Debate, and Quiz Competitions for students of Port Trust Higher Secondary School and other local schools in Paradip.

The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, providing a platform to showcase their creativity, knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills. Through these activities, PPA continues to encourage holistic learning while inspiring the younger generation with the values of patriotism, environmental responsibility, and civic awareness.

Our multi-week quiz challenge brought teams together, sparked excitement, and crowned some truly bright minds.

A big congratulations to Harsh Saxena for winning Brainiac Season 1, Smriti Sharma for securing the runner-up position, and Abhijeet Singh Rana for earning a special consolation prize for the highest correct answers from the audience.

As part of India Maritime Week 2025, Paradip Port Authority organized painting and quiz competitions for students from Port Trust High School.

These activities encouraged young minds to showcase their creativity and knowledge while learning about India’s maritime heritage and the important role of ports in national development.

Quiz Competition 28- Feb -2025 The goal of the Event Quiz competitions is always interesting and informative, which keeps the students interested. Longowal Group of Colleges organized a Quiz Competition at its premises on the eve of National Science Day,28th February 2025( Friday ).

Students enthusiastically participated in the quiz competition. Each wing of the college was represented by a team of six members. The competition was structured into several rounds, which included questions based on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Science and Mathematics. Each round saw intense competition and brilliant displays of knowledge by the participants.

The audience actively engaged in cheering for their respective teams, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Longowal Polytechnic and Pharmacy College team secured the first position, WCITI team secured the second position and Longowal Academic College team secured the third position. Principal of the College, Dr. Rosy Katyal motivated the students by providing them with certificates and medals. She expressed that these events focus on enlarging the sphere of knowledge of the students and also showcased their intellectual prowess and teamwork skills.

On the occasion of 9th Ayurveda day (21 Oct -29 Oct 2024) an Ayurveda selfie competition "AyuSelfie" was organised by GSAMC&H at Yoga hall.
