This album is a sound capsule of retro-futuristic nostalgia, where synthwave, chillwave and vaporous aesthetics combine in an evocative homage to the '80s and neon nightscapes. As the title suggests, the EP invites to an imaginary trip to a drive-in movie theater lost in time, with flamingos illuminated by pink light posters and demagnetized VHS tapes floating in the air. From the first track, Quixotic traces a cinematic atmosphere, almost as if we were listening to the soundtrack of a forgotten romantic sci-fi movie. The most remarkable thing about the EP is its aesthetic coherence: Quixotic does not deviate from the mood it proposes and manages to maintain a solid musical narrative without the need for words. It's an ideal work for those who enjoy instrumental music that evokes images and moods, a sort of introspective "dreamwave".
