Thank you for commissioning me!! I had a lot of fun playing around with these designs!!

As I wanted to make a nature scene for my second Quill experiment, I found the awesome digital painting Windmills from Niels Prayer.

Thought it was a great idea to make an immersive animation out of it.

Couple weeks ago I tested #Quill and it was interesting to get very stylized results due to flat shading in it :) Working in it feels quite cinematic!

I was a bit frustrated with it at first, because those scenes you create there feel so much nicer in VR, but now looking back i think i just needed a bit different mindset. Those scenes you create there you can “stage” and shot from many different camera angles, just like in normal 3d software, but it feels more >like directing< the shot thanks to the fact u are “on the set” :D The exported screenshots are rather low res and not very detailed, but i think Quill might become a very handy soft for storyboarding and finding cool compositions :)
