Why are we so afraid of doing nothing?
It's a strange feeling.
When we have a free evening, we sometimes don't know what to do with it.
We open our phones. We check messages. We search for something new, as if the silence must be filled.
I'm interested in observing how rest has become something to be earned.
As if simply sitting by the window, leafing through a book, or watching the rain isn't enough.
But humans aren't designed solely for movement.
A garden also has seasons when nothing happens on the surface. But life still goes on inside.
Perhaps sometimes we need such a period too.
Not to stop forever.
But to hear where we're going.
For such quiet days, I once created THE ART OF DOING NOTHING. It's not a guide on how to properly rest. Rather, it's a small diary of self-observations when the noise around us becomes too much.
Do you ever feel tired before the day has even really started? Not just physically tired, but mentally full. Too many choices, too many messa
